Hula dancing makes you happy

Queenlee and other happy hula dancers
Queenlee invited all of us to "Smile with your hips".  We sure did, including smiling all over our dials.

Eventful Woman and 12 others swung through several hula moves with the irrepressible Queenlee. It was an hour of fun, fitness and feeling fabulous. Rarely have I seen a group of women enjoy exercise so much.

Hot Hula is low impact and suitable for most ages and any body shape. Your abdominals will get a good work out and so will your well-being.

To answer the question I posed last week: Does hula dancing make your sexy? Yes, I felt HOT at the end of the class (in more ways than one!) Anything that can make women feel good about themselves without needing bucket-loads of expensive 'beauty' products or fretting about shoes and handbags, has got to be great.

Bring a lava lava (sarong), a water bottle and $10 for your lesson with Queenlee on Sundays at high noon. Venue: the Piritahi Marae, Tahatai Road, Oneroa, Waiheke Island.

Leave your designer shoes at home and go barefoot.
