Travel Writer in Residence

Eventful Woman will be revealing all about why the 21st Century travel writer needs to become an internet entrepreneur and how the Internet and blogging offers more opportunities and far less frustration than traditional outlets for travel writers. 

Where: Heritage Auckland, 35 Hobson Street, Auckland central

Eventful Woman was a travel writer-in-residence in Zell an der Mosel (Zell), in the Mosel Valley, Germany, from early October to early November 2011.

She arrived just in time for the Zell new wine festival (Federweissenfest) on 7 – 9 October and ate a huge number of slices of the traditional spicy onion cake (Zwiebelkuchen) that accompanies this new wine.

She stayed in a one-bedroom apartment in My Europe Base, which had wonderful views of the Mosel River and the vineyards.  It is a perfect spot for travelling Kiwis and Aussies who need a base-camp in Europe.
